Meet Kayla
From Chicago’s south suburbs, I moved through several major cities before settling in Boston’s Back Bay. I graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a degree in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing. Early in my career, I worked as an Account Coordinator managing digital marketing initiatives across industries.
From there, I spent several years at a branding and communications agency serving clients in the financial space, where I advanced from Account Manager to Account Director and later to Director of Client Experience. I managed 20 to 30 projects at a time and oversaw cross-functional workflows across creative and strategy teams in the U.S. and Eastern Europe.
My time in agency operations sparked a lasting interest in building systems and processes that make work more efficient and sustainable. I led the development of new project management structures, platform migrations, and process documentation.
Today, I apply that same structure and creativity to small businesses and solopreneurs, helping them organize operations, refine workflows, and implement systems that support growth and clarity. My background in business operations and project management provides the framework to set clear objectives, build processes that support them, and deliver lasting results.
Alongside my professional work, I run a small home studio in Boston where I photograph clothing for resale. It’s a personal project that lets me explore creative systems in marketing, styling, and fulfillment.
When I’m not working on a new project, you can find me running along the Charles River, exploring new cities, or enjoying coffee at neighborhood cafés.
